Best of WSJ 4/26/05
Thomas Sowell authored an interesting opinion in Tuesday's Wall Street Journal. Sowell is a conservative black author who has written a new book titled Black Rednecks and White Liberals. This article, titled Crippled by Their Culture, argues that the differences between black and white (and any combination of people for that matter) are not due to race or to racism but to culture. It ought to make all of us think about the culture we are creating for ourselves. The article is worth your time.
P.S. Several people wondered about a link to this article. To read the entire WSJ a subscription is needed, but Andrew Falk helpfully points out that this article is available to the public at http://www.opinionjournal.com/editorial/feature.html?id=110006608

Hi James. Blog looks good.
When you post about articles in WSJ, are you able to link to them? Or does it take an online subscription?
btw, I put a link to your blog on mine. now we're blog buddies. Ha.
Wow! Never thought you would do it!
Do you mind if I link you too? or would you rather stay undercover for a while?
Stacey, feel free to link me.
Jared - yes it does take a subscrition to read wsj.com
A subscription is required to read the full WSJ, but the article to which James refers is available to all at http://www.opinionjournal.com/editorial/feature.html?id=110006608
