Searching Things Out

It is the glory of God to conceal things, but the glory of kings is to search things out.

Prayer

Last night, Michael Ramsden, an eloquent English apologist with Ravi Zacharias International Ministries International, spoke to 300+ about the gospel at Butler University. Many were believers already, but many were not. The question of the evening: Is Christianity Arrogant? Michael spoke (and took questions) with a great deal of grace for about an hour and twenty minutes, clearly presenting the gospel in a way that disarmed opponents to the greatest extent possible at every turn.

Pray that God would bring fruit from this event, which was sponsored by Campus Crusade. As many of you know, a number of students and I have been hosting Veritas lectures for several years, and while we did not host Michael Ramsden, his message was exactly in line with what we are attempting to bring to campus.

I talked with a man and his wife for an hour and a half after the event. They grew up in Christian homes and continued in the faith until recently, and are now vehemently opposed to Christ. Pray that God would change their hearts, and the hearts of many others who heard God's word last evening.

I heard about that couple from my sister. Are they believers or non-believers?
